Initial Infant Consultation
Not sure what’s contributing to your baby’s feeding difficulties?
75-minute in-home consultation
$295
Many parents are told that a tongue tie or lip tie release will immediately solve their baby’s feeding challenges. While some babies experience rapid improvement, most need additional support before and after the procedure to achieve lasting changes in feeding, comfort, and function.
By the time a release is performed, babies have often developed compensatory patterns for in order to breastfeed. Even with a newly freed tongue, they may need help learning new, more effective ways to breastfeed. Some babies also have a high or narrow palate, body tension, asymmetries, or movement patterns that continue to affect feeding after the procedure.
Through gentle individualized oral-motor therapy, NeuroHorizons® Experiential Movement® lessons, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, and parent coaching, I help babies develop the comfort, coordination, oral function, and feeding skills needed to get the most benefit from their procedure.
